KarbonStream Corporation was formed in early 2010, responding to the needs and concerns of the education world.

How it all began

For years we have heard educators make a plea for simpler testing processes, quicker scoring turnaround times and testing fidelity.

For years we have seen teachers attempt to gain a better understanding of student knowledge through regular assessments but losing valuable teaching time as a consequence.

For years we have celebrated the introduction of new technology, but new technology often requires costly and time-consuming training.

As founders of KarbonStream, we lived and breathed these concerns, and this led to the development of a visionary concept - to create a device that would use leading-edge technology to accelerate the entire data process without forcing people to change the way they work.

To quote Thomas Edison, “If there is a way to do it better ... find it!”  We did find the way to do it better.  Working with the best hardware and software engineers, design houses and manufacturers from around the world, we designed and built KarbonPad - a product strongly grounded on the premise that our technology should complement well-established working practices.

KarbonPad is the world’s smartest write-on pad that revolutionizes how data is collected, processed and reported.  It can be used anywhere that data is collected and analyzed – to score tests in schools, to register patients in hospitals, to select candidates in elections, to collect data for market research.  Today our primary focus is the education sector.

We firmly believe we have an amazing product in KarbonPad.  Indeed we are confident that KarbonPad will make testing simply easier and put the focus back where it belongs – on teaching and learning.
